Makayla Davis is a college student at Columbus College of Art & Design. Makayla is pursuing a BFA in Animation with a minor in Comics & Narrative Practice. She is projected to graduate from Columbus College of Art & Design in Spring 2025.

Makayla is passionate about the environment and sustainability. Her goal is to positively impact conservation efforts through use of art.

While growing up in different parts of Kentucky throughout her childhood, she has always found comfort when out in nature. As the small town she lived in started to expand and develop, there were environmental concerns taking place. Land plots that once were full with trees and brush became leveled, leaving wildlife to relocate. Her seeing once wooded areas disappearing at a fast pace has led Makayla wanting to use art in creating environmental change.
